Kenya is a land of extraordinary beauty, rich traditions, and vibrant cultural history—from its modern capital to its wildlife-filled savannas and ancient Swahili coast. Through our partnership with Synergy Yoga and longtime Kenya resident Salim Rollins, guests will experience the country through an authentic, local lens.
This retreat intentionally explores three distinct regions to reveal Kenya’s full diversity: Nairobi’s dynamic urban heartbeat, the Rift Valley’s profound connection to wildlife and ancestral landscapes, and Lamu’s peaceful coastal heritage shaped by centuries of Swahili culture. With Salim’s deep relationships, on-the-ground knowledge, and community connections, participants gain a richer, more intimate understanding of Kenya—its people, stories, and spirit. This journey offers more than sightseeing; it’s an immersive cultural experience that honors the land, supports local partners, and invites guests to feel Kenya’s true essence.
Your retreat experience includes a thoughtfully curated selection of excursions that immerse you in Kenya’s natural beauty, culture, and coastal magic. In Lake Nakuru National Park, our expert safari guides will lead daily game drives through one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife sanctuaries—home to rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, baboons, countless bird species.
On Lamu Island, you’ll explore the charm of Shela Village with a guided walking tour through its sandy pathways, coral-stone architecture, and welcoming community. A full-day dhow and snorkel trip invites you to sail turquoise waters, swim vibrant reefs, and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board. You’ll also wander historic Lamu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in Swahili culture, and close the journey with a dreamy sunset dhow sail. Optional channel swims offer a refreshing way to experience the island’s serene coastline.
